Russia supports Joint Action Plan offered by occupied Donbas representatives

November 24, the meeting in the video-conference took place of the political and humanitarian subgroups of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on Donbas. Russia supported the Action Plan in Donbas offered by representatives of occupied Donbas as the Ukrainian delegation in the TCG reported on Facebook.

“During the meeting of the political subgroup, the new obtained the sign of the sensationalism, particularly: Russia’s Representative Alexei Dmitrievsky stated that Russia supports the Action Plan offered by the representatives of occupied Donbas who live in the territory not controlled by Ukraine,” the message said.

The Ukrainian delegation asked the Russian side to confirm this statement in the written form until tomorrow’s meeting of the TCG at the general level.

“We are waiting for their answer,” the Ukrainian delegation added.

Earlier, Head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG Leonid Kravchuk stated that the Joint Action Plan, prepared by the Ukrainian side for the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG), contains a proposal on the full and complete cessation of the conflict in Donbas and the demilitarization of certain districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions in early 2021 in order to create all necessary conditions for holding local elections there on March 31, 2021.  

Besides, the TCG reported on the results of the meeting of the heads of the delegations that took place on November 11 in the video-conference regime.
