Ukraine still has not obtained the equipment from the ships, which was dismantled in Russia, but the negotiation process continues, as the Army INFORM news agency reports.
"Now the equipment from the (Ukrainian, - ed.) ships dismantled by the Russian Federation has not yet been returned. The return process is ongoing, everything is being discussed through a lawyer. I think this will take a long time ... On the restoration of the ships - a month ago the crew already started repair work," commander of the division of ships of the guard raid of the maritime command Denys Hrytsenko stated this.
He said this today, February 26, at the National University of Defense of Ukraine named after I. Chernyakhovsky during the round table "Combating the hybrid war at sea: lessons and conclusions," where they also discussed the problems of ships returned from Russia.
The participants discussed the problematic issues of countering the Russian Federation in a hybrid war in the Black and Azov Seas. In addition, we worked out proposals for the management of forces using interdepartmental force groups, in particular, the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with the formations of the combined armed forces of NATO in conditions of hybrid operations at sea.
As we reported before, Russia's Northern Fleet went for an extended drill in the southern part of the Norwegian Sea on Thursday. Two vessels, large landing ship “Kondopoga” and destroyer “Vice-Admiral Kulakov” were engaged. The ships fired both heavy artillery and cruise missile system Kinzhal.
