Russia sends its 57th humanitarian convoy to Donbas
So called humanitarian convoy heads to Ukrainian border
Russia sent 57th convoy with the so-called humanitarian aid to the occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, RIA Novosti reports.
"40 cars with humanitarian aid came from Don Rescue Emergency Center in the Rostov region in the direction of the Russian-Ukrainian border. They carry more than 400 tons of humanitarian aid", reads the statement.
According to Russian side, the cargo is mostly food and medicine.
Recall that the previous 56th humanitarian convoy from Russia came on September 22.
It should be noted that Ukrainian authorities and special services have repeatedly stated that the Russian Federation is supplying petroleum, oil and lubricants, new military hardware, weapons and ammunition to Donbas disguised as humanitarian convoys, delivering the bodies of dead Russian soldiers back to Russia.
