Russian party in the Joint Center on Control and Coordination provided ceasefire guarantees in order to allow reparation of power lines in Avdiivka. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
"There is an agreed ceasefire confirmed by both sides as of 12 noon on February 19," the message reads.
At the same time, it is noted that pyrotechnician units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and maintenance crews of DTEK were deployed for demining activities and further repair of high-voltage lines.
128 people and 32 vehicles are involved in the emergency restoration works in total, according to the message.
"Social objects without backup power will be provided with electricity though 13 electric generators of the State Emergency Service," it is also added.
As it was reported earlier, heating in Avdiivka is provided satisfactorily as of 7 a.m. on February 19, water supply was temporarily suspended. Later it became known that water for Avdiivka residents is being provided hourly.
