On June 2, pro-Kremlin mercenaries attacked Ukrainian positions in Donbas seven times. Two Ukrainian fighters sustained combat wounds, the Joint Forces Operation HQ reported.

Illegal armed gangs of the Russian Federation used the Minsk-banned mortars, as well as grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.
