Russia may use Ukrainian MP Nadiya Savchenko to their advantage to legitimize negotiations with the militants and to create the status of the internal conflict in Donbas and thus to oust OSCE from the negotiation process. Georgiy Tuka, the Deputy Minister for the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons, wrote on his Facebook page.
"Russia is using Savchenko’s actions to their own benefit. There are the attempts to “legitimize direct negotiations” with the ORDLO (the occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions) leaders in order to oust OSCE and Russia itself from the negation process,” Tuka wrote.
Tuka has also accused pro-Kremlin media in creating the “image” of Savchenko’s voyage, which will be later used not only for demonstration of the “beautiful incarceration conditions”, but also to demonstrate the level of democracy and security (even the “murder of the journalists” feels safe!) as an argument to stir potential local elections.
The Deputy Minister expressed hope that Savchenko is not a “Kremlin’s agent”, but Russia is skilfully exploiting her to their pure benefit.
“If Savchenkodoes not respect the feedback, he “activity” needs to be stopped in a lega; way,” he thinks.
As it was reported earlier, Ukrainian Deputy of Verkhovna Rada Nadiya Savchenko and Volodymyr Ruban, the head of Ukrainian center for prisoners release, arrived at the penitentiary in Makiivka, where Ukrainian war prisoners are being kept. They came to the territory controlled by the self-proclaimed "DPR" to see Ukrainian prisoners of war.
