The Kremlin might launch a full-blown war against Ukraine any moment. Oleksandr Turchynov, Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Secretary said that during the session of Ukraine-NATO committee.

‘Russia has been developing a powerful military infrastructure along the Ukrainian border; it can start full-scale military actions against our state anytime. Russia has been persistently turning the occupied Crimea into a powerful military base. Over 10,000 people deceased since the beginning of Donbas conflict, including some 2,500 civilians and 200 children. Russians turned the occupied areas into firing ranges to test their modern weaponry and vehicles,’ he said.

According to Turchynov, Vladimir Putin’s decision, in this case, will strongly depend 'on the domestic political situation in Russia – not on the actions of Ukraine'.
