Russia keeps 82,000 troops in Donbas, Crimea and on border with Ukraine, - General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces

Currently, there are some 82,000 servicemen of the Russian regular army on the border with Ukraine. Andriy Gudz, the Chief of the Verification Department of the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces said that as quoted by UNN news agency

'The overall number of manpower, which Russia has been holding along the state border of Ukraine, in Donetsk and Luhansk regions and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea makes about 82,000', he said.

Besides, Gudz added that in 2018, Russia stealthily moved 250 T-62 tanks to the Ukrainian border. 

In May, eight Ukrainian servicemen died in Donbas combat area; another 42 were wounded.
