The Russian side claimed about the readiness to return its officers from the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) in Donbas under the number of the conditions. Evgen Marchuk, the representative of Ukraine in the security subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas in Minsk reported this at Facebook.
‘The representative of Russia in the security subgroup made an official statement that Russia is ready to return its military from the JCCC under the particular conditions. The issue is about the confirmation of the regulation on the JCCC, their status, guarantee of the security and so on’, he wrote.
Marchuk emphasized that the statement of Russian on the withdrawal from the JCCC worried Ukraine and the number of the western countries.
Also, he reported that all expenses for the alimentation of the Russian officers from the JCCC were paid by Ukraine and it guaranteed the security to them.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian officer that was a member of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) was banned from the entry to Ukraine for three years due to the illegal visit to occupied Crimea through Russia.
As we reported Russia decided to withdraw its representatives from the Joint Center for Control and Coordination in Donbas(JCCC) on December 19.
This decision was made in connection with the new order of entry to Ukraine and the introduction of a duty to inform of the intention to visit the country in advance in electronic form for Russian citizens scheduled for January 1, 2018.
The Joint Center for Control and Coordination is a group to monitor compliance with the Minsk Protocol, which includes representatives of the Ukrainian and Russian sides, as well as the fighters of the “LNR” and “DNR” militants. The Center started its work on September 26, 2014, in Soledar, Donetsk region.
