Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergy Kyslytsia claimed that Russia enlists the teenagers in Donbas for the participation in the war. He claimed this during the open debates at the UN Security Council on children and armed conflicts as it is reported at the message of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine at the UN Security Council.
According to the data of the UN monitoring mission on human rights in Ukraine, 90 boys of teenage years and 47 girls died since the beginning of the Russian aggression.
80 children were killed in the result of the MH17 plane crash. 68 children were disabled in the conflict zone in the result of the explosions of the earlier not exploded mines and ammunition. 15 000 children of Donbas are at the threat.
240 000 of 1.7 million of IDPs are children. Moreover, almost 200 000 teenagers live in 15-kilometers zone along the contact line on both sides.
‘There were the reports from the different sources that the 15-years old children were enlisted in the armed youth groups and participated in the active hostilities as the full members of the groups of the pro-Russian militants, including the youth intelligence and sabotage activity at the controlled by Ukraine territory’, Kyslytsia noted.
Earlier speaker of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine at the UN Security Council Oleh Nikolenko claimed about the adoption of the draft law of the resolution on the human rights in annexed Crimea by 34 countries.
