The Russian government does not intend to carry out the agreements reached earlier in Minsk for the settlement of the situation in Donbas. Such an opinion on the talk show "People. Hard Talk" stated Russian writer and human rights activist Victor Shenderovich.

"The fact that these arrangements (Minsk, - Ed.) are ambiguous and half - it is absolutely obvious. Russia does not intend to comply with them, five times ratifying this is some privilege of the stronger. Any contract with the bandit, you have to understand that this agreement is only valid as long as it is beneficial to the bandit, because he is a bandit. Russian power, certainly will not comply with the agreements that it does not need in today's state of affairs ", - he said.

However, in his opinion, Ukraine's Western partners are not ready to fully protect it.

"Ukraine today is not to be envied, because it's caught between a rock and a hard place, it's a hostage of Russia and the West, which made conclusions about Putin and the Russian government today, but it is clear that the ships of the 6th US Navy would not open fire on the "Admiral Kuznetsov" in the interests of Ukraine. It is clear that Ukrainian problems don't stand in first place today for the West: there is Syria, there is ISIS ... In this sense, the situation in Ukraine is quite dramatic, "- said the writer.
