Russia denies any involvement in the murder of one of the leaders of the militants of the so called DPR Mikhail Tolstykh, a.k.a Givi. This was stated by Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, TASS reports.
Also, he called the murder of Tolstykh "an attempt to destabilize the situation."
As it was reported earlier, the so-called "DPR" high-ranked commander, Mikhail Tolstykh, a.k.a Givi was killed at 6.12 a.m. Kyiv time, in what they claim to be a ‘terrorist attack by Ukraine’.
Since the beginning of the Russian aggression in eastern Ukraine Givi led the armed unit ‘Somalia’, which fought on the side of pro-Kremlin militants. In particular, he was among the separatists who mocked and tortured the Ukrainian defenders of Donetsk airport, some of which were forced to surrender and thus became POWs.
