Boris Gryzlov, Russia's permanent representative in Minsk contact group blames Ukraine for violating the ceasefire and provoking escalation in Donbas. The official stated this after the session of the Minsk group on March 3, RBC reports.
"The Ukrainian government nullified most of the previously approved security guarantees. Ukraine provokes military escalation of the conflict", he said.
According to Gryzlov, during the session, Minsk group representatives discussed the new wave of ceasefire violations, which, according to him, were allowed by Ukraine's military.
Gryzlov claims these attacks were intentional.
Moscow's representative in the Minsk talks group points out that more shooting is taking place in Donbas, and military vehicles are deployed in residential quarters.
Earlier, leaders of the self-styled Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics allowed militants to open fire on positions of the Ukrainian military. In turn, Leonid Kravchuk, the head of the Ukrainian delegation in the Minsk group claimed that the ceasefire was in danger.
