Russian-backed militants shell peaceful settlements in Donbas combat zone

Ukrainian party of the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination reports about the continuation of shelling of the peaceful settlements at the demarcation line by the Russia-backed militants. The press service of Joint Forces operation (JFO) HQ reports this on Facebook.

Thus, the pro-Kremlin militants shelled the area near Artema settlement from Obozne settlement on June 6.

The observing group Stanytsia Luhanska of the Ukrainian party of the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination on ceasefire regime and stabilization of the demarcation line recorded a funnel from the shot of the anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) between Artema and Petrivka settlements during conducting the photo fixation.

“Ukrainian party of the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination condemns the actions of the occupational administrations and the Russia-backed militants. The occupants demonstrate once again their unwillingness to abide by the Minsk agreements and the interest in a further escalation of the conflict,” the report said.

Earlier, the Pro-Kremlin militants shelled at the multi-storey building in Mayorsk settlement of Bakhmut district in Donetsk region. The press service of the JFO HQ published this on Facebook referring to the report of the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination.
