Militants launched an unguided S-8 aircraft missile in the Donetsk region: it was found a few dozen meters away from residential buildings on the outskirts of Pavlopil. This was reported on the Facebook page of Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ.

According to preliminary information, the missile was fired the day before by Russian occupation forces from Verkhnoshyrokivske village. The rocket did not explode, none of the locals were injured.

The case was documented by the relevant investigative bodies. Engineering and sapper units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine neutralized the missile on the spot by detonation.

It is likely that the launch of the S-8 missile was carried out via a homemade ground launcher.

"As the missile is unguided, it is obvious that the occupiers aimed directly at the settlement. By doing so, the invaders once again demonstrated their cynical attitude towards the local population and deliberately put the lives of civilians at risk," the headquarters stated.

As we reported earlier, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a militant vehicle that transported ammunition to the position with the help of an anti-tank missile system.
