The Investigative Committee of Russian Federation claims that they identified officials of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who allegedly are involved in the shelling of Russian territory in 2014. This is stated on the official site of the office.

"140 forensic examinations, dozens of inspections of the scene were conducted and more than 1,000 witnesses were interviewed as a part of criminal investigations. The results of investigative actions and search operations of FSB and MVD allowed investigators to identify that the Commander of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Armed forces of Ukraine Andriy Hryshchenko is involved in organizing the shooting, who is currently serving as a Commander of the operational command South of the Land Armed Forces of Ukraine, along with the Commander of the 27th reactive artillery regiment of the Armed Forces Colonel Valeriy Ismailov," the report says.

This is noted that these Ukrainian officers are charged of committing crimes under Art. 105, 317 of the Criminal Code of Russian Federation (murder, attempted murder, attempt on the life of law enforcement) in absentia.

It is noted that the attacks of Russian territories were conducted from large-weapons - self-propelled artillery and multiple rocket launch systems.

Earlier it was reported that there was a closed trial of "Crimean saboteurs" in Russia. The defendants’ lawyers argue that Panov and Zahtey had no relation to sabotage preparation.
