During the talks of the heads of delegations in the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on Donbas on April 28, one of the Russian representatives acknowledged that the people invited by the Russian side from the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions were not a party of the negotiation. This was stated by the speaker of the Ukrainian delegation in the TCG on Donbas Oleksiy Arestovych on air of Ukraine 24 TV channel.
"Russia, as you know, always insists that it is not a party to the conflict and that Ukraine must negotiate with ORDLO. However, today a high-ranking representative from the Russian side - I will not say who, after all, there is diplomatic etiquette, said: "Naturally, we recognize the territorial integrity of Ukraine.” This person also said: "Of course, we are not talking about "republics," Arestovych said.
According to him, this representative of Russia acknowledged that, although there are armed formations of ORDLO, but "as a party of negotiations, they do not exist."
Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian delegation in the Trilateral Contact Group Leonid Kravchuk offered to introduce into the delegation a new adviser on communication with the representatives of occupied Donbas to process their offers.
