Maintenance crews are waiting for the confirmation from the Joint Coordination Center for Ceasefire Monitoring on the possibility to start restoration works at Donetsk Filtration Plant. This was reported by Vadym Chernysh, the Minister on issues of Occupied Territories and internally displaced persons, in a commentary to Interfax Ukraine agency.
"There is no confirmation from the Joint Coordination Center that it is possible to enter this dangerous zone as of yet… but all the brigades are ready," Chernysh informed.
There is currently no light in Avdiivka.
As it was reported earlier today, Avdiivka was de-energized again due to several heavy attacks by the Russia-backed occupation forces. Prior to that, the management of Donetsk filtration plant has decided to halt the plant and evacuate all personnel, because the station was under shelling for two days straight, while the objects within the plant were heavily damaged.
