The issue of release of Ukrainian citizens illegally detained and held captive by Russia-sponsored militants is the number one topic of today’s agenda in Minsk. Iryna Gerashchenko, Ukraine’s envoy in the humanitarian subgroup of Minsk talks group, said that on Monday, May 15.

Parties to Minsk trilateral contact group discuss this topic among the others during the session in the Belarusian capital.

According to Gerashchenko, currently, Russian proxies illegally held at least 128 Ukrainian citizens in captivity.
