Ukraine’s Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories is now working on a 25-year strategic program on the reintegration of Donbas. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov, 112 Ukraine TV channel reports.
"Indeed, my ministry is currently preparing a strategic program for 25 years because I believe that the full reintegration will not take place in the foreseeable future. It does not matter who will be the minister or MP at that time, we must all think strategically," he stated.
As we reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky predicts that people in the occupied Donbas will soon rebel against the occupying power.
"Many of these people are invected with coronavirus, they are dealing with a humanitarian catastrophe there. And people living in the occupied part of Donbas can see how Ukrainians live on the other side of the front, which is better. Miners in the occupied Donbas are doing poorly: they do not receive a normal salary and are forced to pay for water and electricity at a high price. If the patience of the people there runs out at some point, there may be riots," the president said.
