"Yesterday, 2 trucks with humanitarian aid from the Red Cross International Committee proceeded through the Novotroitske checkpoint to the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine," the statement said.
It is noted that in general, more than 2 tons of drugs and medical equipment were sent to residents of Donbas.
Earlier it was reported that through the Novotroitske checkpoint, 5 trucks of the Red Cross mission transported 91.1 tons of humanitarian aid to the temporarily occupied territory.
The ongoing war in Donbas and Russia's behavior will be among the key topics during the meeting of foreign ministers of North European countries. The summit will take place in Borgarnes, Iceland on September 12; Finnish foreign ministry reported that as quoted by UNN news agency.
"Iceland organized an interesting meeting for us; I'm looking forward to having good discussions with the neighboring northern countries", Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto said.
Besides, the parties are going to discuss the future of the EU and climate changes, security issues in the Baltic and Arctic regions, as well as cyber security matters.
