The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has sent 36 tonnes of humanitarian aid to residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Donbas, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
"On July 17, five vehicles carrying humanitarian aid from the International Committee of the Red Cross crossed the Novotroitske and Shchastya checkpoints," the report reads.
The humanitarian cargo, consisting of more than 36 tonnes of plumbing materials, furniture, clothing and food, was sent to civilians living in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and suffering from the aggression of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission claimed that the situation in the areas of division of forces in Donbas has worsened. The tendency has been observed during the last two weeks, said Heidi Grau, the Special Representative of OSCE Chairman in Ukraine.
"Over the last two weeks, the number of ceasefire violations has been increasing. The overall number of violations grows, and the security situation in areas of division of forces has been worsening", Grau said.
According to the official, the SMM reported that the freedom of movement is restricted, and surveillance equipment has been repeatedly damaged.
