The recognition of the self-proclaimed LNR and DNR republics' passports is a temporary measure, until the full implementation of Minsk agreements. This was said by the representative of Russia in the tripartite contact group in Minsk Boris Gryzlov in Kazan during a meeting with the party "United Russia", TASS reports.
"The nature of the recognition of LNR and DNR passports is also temporary, I will officially say it as is - it's just until the implementation of Minsk agreements. This is a correct step, but a diplomatic one. At the moment, let's say, there is no question of recognizing the DNR and LNR. We are trying to work according to Minsk agreements," Gryzlov said.
As reported, on February 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on recognizing the identity documents issued by the so-called DNR and LNR authorities.
