The railway station has resumed its work in occupied Donetsk after five-year hiatus as one of the information sources of the militants reports.
“The train opened the traffic at 7:50 a.m. to Olenivka, where one of the main checkpoints situated at the demarcation line of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic and territory controlled by Ukraine. The train stops at Rutchenkove, Mandrykine and Dolia on his way. The duration of the trip is an hour and a half,” the message said.
It is noted that six suburban trains will ply to Olenivka and Mandrykine.
Besides, the militants have begun the modernization of the infrastructure at checkpoint near Olenivka. It is planned to finish the works until the autumn.
As we reported Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint will be working by the abridged schedule. The checkpoint is to open at 6 a.m and will close at 6 p.m. This is for security reasons, as mine-clearing works around the checkpoint are underway.
