Prosecutor’s Office starts investigation regarding helicopter crash near Kramatorsk

Law enforcers are currently taking measures to establish circumstances and those responsible for the incident

Military prosecution of Anti-Terrorist Operation forces has started pre-trial investigation on the catastrophe of MI-2 near Kramatorsk, according to the press service of Prosecutor General’s office.

The investigation was opened on the elements of crime provided in Article 417 (violation of aviation rules leading to the catastrophe of aircraft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Prosecutor’s Office noted that they are currently taking measures to establish circumstances and those responsible for the incident.

There is also a video from the helicopter crash site.

It is noteworthy that 5 people (three crew members and two passengers) died as a result of MI-2 helicopter crash near Kramatorsk on March 26. Helicopter went down after hitting the power lines.
