According to the Chief Intelligence Department, the occupation command openly strengthens control over the movement of the population at the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

"Particularly, it is provided to equip the checkpoints near the settlements with the centralized system of the personal electronic accounting. Moreover, the electronic passes will be implemented for the population which will provide the operative use for the restriction for entry-exit. At the same time, the mentioned system will allow to expose "suspicious persons" on the basis of the so-called automated analysis of the history of the movements for the localization of the expression of the un-loyal attitude of the people to the Russian occupation regime," he said.
