The militants prepare the implementation of the electronic passes for the citizens at the checkpoints. Maksym Prauta, the Colonel and officer from press service of Ukraine's Defense Ministry, claimed this as 112.ua reported.
According to the Chief Intelligence Department, the occupation command openly strengthens control over the movement of the population at the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
"Particularly, it is provided to equip the checkpoints near the settlements with the centralized system of the personal electronic accounting. Moreover, the electronic passes will be implemented for the population which will provide the operative use for the restriction for entry-exit. At the same time, the mentioned system will allow to expose "suspicious persons" on the basis of the so-called automated analysis of the history of the movements for the localization of the expression of the un-loyal attitude of the people to the Russian occupation regime," he said.
According to Prauta, thus, the enemy tries to improve the accounting of the locals for the conscription as the militants, to enhance the preventive measures on the unauthorized abandonment of the places of the serving by the Russian soldiers and provide the wanting and detention of the deserters.
As we reported the entry-exit checkpoint in Novotroitske, Donetsk region, undergoes reconstruction; this causes temporary limitation of transport capacity.
Earlier, Mariinka checkpoint was modernized and furbished, and now it continues working. Oleksandr Kuts’, the head of Donetsk military and civil organization, reported that on Facebook. Two halls, air circulation system, video displays and a toilet for the people with special needs were set. Water and power line communications are in place, as well. The administration spent about 300,000 dollars on the upgrades. The test project will soon be implemented in other entry-exit checkpoints in Donbas – in Novotroitske, Hnutove and Mayorsk.
