As a result, the militants did not hold the preparations for “the election” in occupied Donbas.
“The funds were not allocated for this process and there were no direct orders on its holding from Moscow,” the source said.
Earlier the representatives of the illegal armed formations claimed about the plans to hold the so-called “election” in occupied Donbas in November, the date should be chosen later.
It is reported that in June the membership of the so-called “Central Election Commission” was changed. Citing the source close to the commission, it is reported that before, there were the preparations to the holding of the election, including the accounting of the budget for the organizational costs and it was sent to the curators in Moscow.
However, in August, the “public movements” of self-proclaimed republics offered to prolong the authorities of the so-called “heads” and “MPs” from four to five years.
