Since the beginning of the current day, Russian forces have broken the ceasefire regime five times in the Donbas, using mortars of different calibers.
This was stated in the summary of the Ministry of Defense about the situation in the area of the Joint Forces Operation.
"The Allied forces adequately suppressed hostile armed activities several times, using small arms. According to reports, there are no casualties among our heroes from the beginning of the current day as a result of enemy shellings," the Defense Ministry stated.
As we reported earlier, on October 16, pro-Kremlin mercenaries violated the ceasefire regime 30 times. As a result of the shellings, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, another - injured. It was reported by the Joint Forces Operation HQ on its Facebook page.
In the area of responsibility of the tactical group "East", hostile shellings were recorded near Vodyane, Avdiivka, Piskiv, Lebedynsky, Maryinka, Pishchevik, Chermalik, Talakivka, Novomikhailivka, and Taramchuk.
According to the headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation, the enemy fired at the positions of our fighters with the mortars of 120- and 82-mm caliber, which are prohibited by the Minsk agreements, BMP’s weapons, anti-aircraft guns, grenade/rocket launchers, and small arms.
