Donetsk People Republic's (DPR’s) mercenaries believe that the withdrawal of forces in the areas of Zolote and Petrovske did not happen because of violations from the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by a deputy representative of the so-called "People's Militia of Donetsk People’s Republic" Eduard Basurin, reports RIA Novosti.

"The number of violations has increased dramatically. This happened in the last 24 hours. In general, the situation was escalated along the whole front line. The situation is very complicated," Basurin said.

According to him, 886 rounds of ammunition were fired by Ukrainian troops, resulting in damage to 13 residential buildings and objects of civilian infrastructure.

"But let's see if the Ukrainian military executes the order and withdraw the forces," Basurin added.

As we reported earlier, at the meeting of the Tripartite Contact Group in Minsk on October 1, the parties agreed to start the deployment of troops in Zolote and Petrovske. Later, OSCE Special Representative to the Tripartite Contact Group (TGG) for Ukraine Martin Sajdik said that the deployment of forces in Zolote and Petrovske would begin on Monday, October 7.
