The previous round of exchange took place two years ago. 74 Ukrainians were released then.
The exchange of imprisoned individuals between Ukraine and the militant-held Donbas will take place on December 29. The venue will be Mayorsk entry-exit checkpoint in the Donetsk region. Telegram channel Рavlovskynews reported that on December 26.
"The proportions are the following: Donetsk/Kyiv - 55/65, Luhansk/Kyiv 25/65. The overall number makes 130 people from Kyiv and 80 from the occupied areas", reads the message.
As is known, some of those imprisoned refuse to go back. The exchange lists include some corrupt residents of Kyiv, who were judged for corruption in Ukraine.
Former fighters of Berkut riot police, suspected of killing Euromaidan protesters in February 2014, have been excluded from the list. The three servicemen spent more than six years over the bars.
Previously, Ukraine and the pro-Kremlin mercenaries agreed that the actual date for the exchange of prisoners would be December 23.
