Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine summoned Sebastian Kurz, the Chair of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) to activate the advice on insertion of the OSCE police mission in Donbas. He claimed this during the meeting with Kurz in Kyiv. It is reported in the website of the Administration of the President.

The president emphasized that Russia continues to violate the Minsk Agreements and the evidence is the latest escalation of the safety and humanitarian situation in Donbas.

Also Poroshenko claimed that more often the civil property becomes the aim of the shellings with the forbidden armament.

The president reminded Kurz the recent cases of the OSCE SMM observers' intimidation from Russia-backed militants' side.

'The main goal of Russian tactics of intimidation of OSCE workers is to limit the SMM access to the occupied territory up to dislodge OSCE SMM from Donbass', the message reports.

Petro Poroshenko emphasized the necessity to strengthen the technical possibilities of SMM to increase the security of the OSCE workers, using the possibility of the remote monitoring.
