Poroshenko: Over 13 thousand Ukrainian soldiers wounded in ATO

Since the start of the military conflict in Donbas, over 13 thousand of Ukrainian servicemen have been wonded. Such was the data announced by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at a meeting with Ukrainian paralympians, which was broadcast live by 112-Ukraine.

“More than 13 thousand of Ukrainian soldiers have been wounded over the course of this horrific war. All of them need  medical aid, as well as the attention of our society. But what they need most is psychological help”, - Poroshenko said.

Ukrainian troops have been involved in the military conflict in parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

According to the information of the General Staff, between the start of the military operation and October 2017, activeduty casualties reached 10,710 servicemen, with 2,378 of them dead. 242 children have died since the beginning of the Anti-terrorist operation in the east of the country.
