A new peace plan on Donbas offered by Germany and France will be presented until the end of March. As of today, the details of this initiative are not disclosed. Adviser on Information Policy of the Ukrainian delegation in the Trilateral Contact Group Oleksiy Arestovych reported that on Facebook.

“Relatively new initiative (of German and France, - offered within the Normandy Format, the details of which are not disclosed yet; it should be officially offered by the parties until the end of March,” the message said.

He specified that the presentation of the plan on Donbas will be held in the next two-three weeks.

Head of Ukraine’s Presidential Office Andriy Yermak stated that plan of peaceful settlement of Donbas Conflict prepared by Ukraine and western partners is ready but it should be approved by Russia.

However, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Andrey Rudenko stated that Russia knows nothing about the plan.

Besides, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the preparation of the Normandy Format meeting. However, in case it does not take place, the leader of the state will find another format of the talks with each side.
