The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) recorded approximately 205 bombings in Donbas from Saturday to Sunday evening. This is stated in the organization's daily report of January 27, 2020.
OSCE reports about 65 bombings in the Donetsk region.
"Most of the ceasefire violations, including about half of the explosions, were reported in the areas east and south of Berezove settlement, as well as south of Svitlodarsk," the report says.
Meanwhile, the organization observed 140 explosions in the Luhansk region.
"Most of the ceasefire violations were reported in areas northeast of the Golubivka settlement," the OSCE stated.
As we reported earlier, pyrotechnic units of the State Service for Emergency Situations seized and destroyed almost 34 000 explosive items in Donetsk and Luhansk regions from the beginning of the hostilities in the east of Ukraine. This was stated by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters.
The press center emphasized that, in accordance with the orders of the JFO Commander, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Situations Department carried out work on cleaning up terrain from explosive objects, as well as life support facilities and infrastructure, escorted emergency crews of communal enterprises during repair and maintenance work at electric and water supply facilities.
