OSCE spots 76 violations of ceasefire regime in Donbas during two days

In Donbas, from the evening on January 8 until the evening on January 10, 76 violations of the ceasefire regime were observed as the OSCE SMM in Ukraine reported.

Thus, in Donetsk region, the SMM spotted 74 violations of truce, including 29 explosions of uncertain origin. The majority of the violations were observed on the evening on January 8 and on the night of January 9 near Mariinka and in the morning on January 10 near Yasynuvata.

In Luhansk region, the SMM observed two explosions of uncertain origin near Zolote.

The OSCE added that after the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on July 22, 2020, when the agreement on the ceasefire regime was reached; at least 5,780 violations of the ceasefire regime were observed in Donetsk and Luhansk region (including 2,503 explosions).

As we reported, six ceasefire violations took place in Donbas combat area since the beginning of the day, January 11. From anti-tank grenade launchers, the militants fired at Ukrainian positions near Pavlopol, from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms - near Avdiivka, from large-caliber machine guns, small arms and sniper weapons - in Pisky.
