Also, the OSCE SMM workers report that they continue to observe the regions of the delimitation of the forces and equipment near Stanytsia Luhanska, Zolote and Petrovske (Luhansk region). At the same time, the access of the SMM observers to these territories remained limited.
Moreover, they spotted the long queues at Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint and visited one border zone that is situated beyond the state control.
As we reported the armed militants of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic near Horlivka checkpoint in Donetsk region on December 8 interrupted conversation of the Special Monitoring Mission of the OSCE with local residents and forbade to talk to them. After that, the observers were ordered to leave the area.
The OSCE added that near the same checkpoint in Horlivka, the SMM was talking to a group of civilians when armed “DPR” members approached the SMM. The armed men told the SMM to stop talking to civilians and leave the area. The SMM left the area and informed the JCCC.
