OSCE SMM spots more than 500 explosions in Donbas

The OSCE SMM spotted 503 explosions in Donbas since February 27, 19:30 until February 28, 19:30 as it is stated in the report of the organization.

‘The missions stated the decrease of the number of the violations of the cease-fire regime in Donetsk region in the comparison with the previous report period (about 500 explosions in the comparison to 620)’, the observers reported.

‘Almost 80% of the explosions recorded in the south-east from Svitlodarsk (controlled by Ukraine, situated in 57kms from Donetsk’, the OSCE emphasized.

‘The SMM stated the decrease of the number of the violations of the cease-fire regime in Luhansk region in comparison with the previous report period (three explosions in the comparison to six), the mission noted.

Also, the OSCE SMM reported on four infantry fighting vehicles in Katerynivka village (eight kilometers from Luhansk) and two armored personnel carriers in Vesela Hora village (16kms from Luhansk) on February 28. On February 27, they spotted one antiaircraft mounting installed at the armored personnel carrier near Smile village (31kms from Luhansk).
