The OSCE SMM has spotted 230 violations of the ceasefire regime in Donbas on October 1 as the OSCE SMM daily report states.

Thus, in the Donetsk region, the SMM spotted 209 violations of the ceasefire regime, including 13 explosions of undetermined origin. During the previous report period, the mission spotted 257 violations of the ceasefire.

In the Luhansk region, the Mission spotted 21 violations of the ceasefire regime, including 16 explosions. During the previous report period, the mission spotted 159 violations of the ceasefire.

Earlier, a militant from the so-called "Luhansk People’s Republic" in Donbas voluntarily surrendered at the position of one of the mechanized brigades of Ukraine's Armed Forces. This was reported by the press service of the JFO.

“We were just on combat duty and watching out to prevent enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group from passing through. We saw that some unknown person was moving in the direction of our positions. Watching closely, we allowed the person as close as possible. In a few minutes, we realized that this was a combatant with a weapon. When he came close to our observer, we quickly disarmed him and immediately reported to our commander," Ukrainian soldiers reported.
