The OSCE’s Tuesday report says that their drone crashed during a reconnaissance flight over Avdiivka, one of the hottest spots in the entire combat area. The statement says that the UAV was about 600 meters away from the contact line, on the Ukraine-controlled territory. At about midnight of July 26, its signal was lost.
In approximately half an hour, Ukrainian troops reported that they found the crash site; several hours after that, they recovered some of the wreckage and passed it to the OSCE SMM observers.
Another such incident took place above the occupied area of Luhansk region; a drone was shot at twice, but stayed intact.
OSCE SMM drones have been already attacked multiple times by now; many of them were damaged and even destroyed, while others were jammed.
