On October 10, OSCE representatives met with parishioners of the Holy Protection Orthodox Church in the village of Sarata, Odesa Region. This was reported by the Information and Education Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church with reference to the press service of the Odesa Diocese.

During the meeting, members of the community, together with the vicar of the church, Archpriest Mykola Aratovsky, reported on the situation in the village and the violation of their rights. Mission observer André Lorsch familiarized himself with facts that indicate a violation of the law on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church believers.

During the meeting, OSCE representatives were handed documents confirming the violation of the rights and freedoms of the religious community.
