OSCE Special Monitoring Mission reported about conflict escalation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation Zone in Debaltseve- Svitlodarsk area. Particularly, according to the first deputy chairman of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM), Alexander Hug, deterioration of security situation was seen towards the end of the last week.
"On November 3 at its front patrol position in Debaltseve SMM recorded 250 bombings in 30 minutes. The escalation of the conflict was also observed this week. On Tuesday (November 15, -Ed.) We recorded 340 explosions per hour near Debaltsevo. 193 bursts of mortar in 50 minutes near Svitlodarsk. 30 seconds of continuous Grad bursts near Horlivka and close to Horlivka more than 10 minutes near Yasynuvata, 70 rockets in 3 minutes were launched near Shirokino. SMM recorded 1400 explosions on Tuesday in general”, - he said.
Earlier, US representative informed that Russia continues to increase military power in the occupied Crimea.
