OSCE SMM records 659 violations of silence regime in Donbas over the weekend, November 27-28, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine daily report reads.

The SMM recorded 495 ceasefire violations, including 49 explosions (1 explosion in the air, 1 explosion from the source fire, 3 bursts of ammunition and 44 explosions of unknown origin) in the Donetsk region. Most violations occurred in areas north of Shyrokyne village, to the south-east of Chermalyk, as well as within and south of the breeding area in of Petrovske village.

The mission recorded ceasefire violations in the area east of Hranitne, assessed as combat shooting exercises in violation of the decision of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) of March 3, 2016 on the prohibition of combat shooting exercises within the security zone.

In Luhansk region, the mission recorded 164 ceasefire violations (no explosions). Almost all violations occurred north and east of the Zolote breeding area.

As it was reported, 14,014 houses have been destroyed in the Donetsk region territories controlled by the Ukrainian government since the beginning of the armed conflict as a result of hostilities.
