OSCE records over 1,800 ceasefire violations in Donbas over the weekend

The OSCE SMM recorded 1,889 violations of the "silence regime" in Donbas over the weekend, November 13-14, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine states in the daily report.

Thus, in the Donetsk region, the SMM recorded 1,240 ceasefire violations, including 441 explosions (two bursts of ammunition, 56 explosions in the air and 383 explosions of unknown origin). Most of the ceasefire violations occurred at the breeding site in the area of Petrovske settlement and in areas to the northeast and southeast of it, as well as north of Shyrokine and west of Svitlodarsk.

Observers also heard 200 rounds and shots from small arms near Berdianske. According to the mission, these were exercises in combat fire in the security zone in violation of the decision of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) of March 3, 2016, which prohibits combat exercises in combat in the security zone.

In Luhansk region, the SMM recorded 649 ceasefire violations, including 248 explosions (19 munitions ruptures, one explosion in the air, and 228 explosions of unknown origin). Almost all ceasefire violations occurred in the areas to the northeast, east, southeast, southwest and west of the breeding area in the area of Zolote.

As it was reported, in the Donetsk region territories controlled by the Ukrainian government, 14,014 houses have been destroyed as a result of hostilities since the beginning of the armed conflict.
