During the weekend, the Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) recorded 188 silence regime violations in Donbas. This is stated in a OSCE SMM Daily Report issued on 26 July.
Particularly, in Donetsk region, between the evenings of 23 and 25 July, the SMM recorded 48 ceasefire violations. Most of the ceasefire violations took place near non-government-controlled Manuilivka.
In Luhansk region, between the evenings of 23 and 25 July, the Mission recorded 140 ceasefire violations, including 14 explosions. Most of the violations of the ceasefire took place in Stanytsia Luhanska, Zolote and Petrivske.
As it was reported earlier, on July 26, Donbas militants violated the ceasefire and fired at the positions of the Ukrainian army from the heavy artillery weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. As a result of the shelling, seven servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were injured.
