The security situation in Donbas in winter will be even worse. This was reported during the briefing by the first deputy chairman of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM), Alexander Hug.
“When winter comes, the hardships faced by the civilian population in Eastern Europe will become even more acute in the next few months”, - he said.
Taking this into account, Hug urged parties to the conflict to stop the attacks. “I clearly remember that parties can stop the fighting. They have already done that in August for just one night”, - he said.
Earlier, Hug also stated that more than 100 rockets near Mariupol were fired.
