Special Monitoring Mission of the OSCE was shelled while trying to set the camera on the roof of Donetsk filtration station. This was announced by Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the mission Alexander Hug at the briefing, reported Ukrainian Truth agency.
"Yesterday (August 3) at the Donetsk filtration station, located between the state-controlled Avdiivka and the controlled by militants Yasynuvata in occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk , the mission observers and workers took fire from small arms," he said.
According to Hug, the workers tried to install a video camera on the roof of the Donetsk filtration station, which is needed for round-the-clock surveillance of the territory.
No information on victims or wounded in the incident appeared yet.
As it was reported earlier 59 civilians died, 282 were injured in Donbas since the year’s beginning, according to Alexander Hug. The collateral damage among civilians is increasing.
