The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission informs about the complication of the situation on the contact line near Travneve and Hladosove, as Alexander Hug, Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE SMM to Ukraine, told 112.
The observers of the mission spotted the appearance of new tranches, armoured vehicles, and fortifications.
Hug said that while the observation mission didn’t spot violations of the contact line, there was a movement of forces towards one another. This may lead to further escalation of the conflict.
At the end of November, it was reported that Travneve and Hladosove, which previously had been in the “grey” zone, came under the control of Ukraine’s Armed Forces as a result of an operation on the Svitlodar curve.
