OSCE confirms separation of forces in Stanytsia Luhanska area in Donbas

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine confirmed the separation of manpower and equipment in the Stanytsia Luhanska area in Donbas. This is stated in the OSCE SMM report.

In particular, the militants told the SMM about the completion of the withdrawal of forces and military equipment in the area of the Stanytsia Luhanska settlement. Earlier, observers received confirmation from the Ukrainian side.

After the announcement of the beginning of the separation process on June 26, the Ukrainian military and militants departed from their previous positions for several days.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out work on dismantling fortifications and demining the adjacent territory, and representatives of the militants began to build a new access infrastructure outside the separation area," the report says.

On June 26, it was reported that the first stage of the withdrawal of Ukrainian units under the supervision of the OSCE mission took place in the Stanytsia Luhanska.

The next day it became known that in the area of this settlement the first stage of the withdrawal of militant units was completed.
