In case Russia is officially considered the aggressor country, no one but spies and scouts will be able to travel there. Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov said this while commenting on possible ban on traveling to Russia, initiated by Ukraine’s state security service.
‘Most unfortunately, there are turncoats who actively work on de-stabilizing situation in this country, and their actions are funded by Russian special services. It concerns terrorist acts that the Russian special service prepare and carry out in Ukraine,’ he said.
Previously, Ukraine’s SBU, the state security service prepared the draft law on limiting travels to Russia; the document concerns Ukrainian politicians, representatives of local authorities and civil activists.
Last week, Ukraine’s parliament approved the law about extension of special status of government in the occupied areas of Donbas. One of the law’s provisions officially puts Russia as the aggressor country.
