On May 23, militants attacked the emplacements of Ukrainian troops in Donbas 11 times. One Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in action, the Joint Forces Operation HQ reported.
In Donetsk region, the enemy opened fire 10 times. In Mykolaivka and Pisky, the militants used anti-tank missile launchers; in Pavlopol, they fired heavy machine guns and mounted anti-tank grenade launchers. In Starohnativka and Chermalyk, small arms and stationary anti-tank grenade launchers were used. Enemy attacks were observed in Avdiivka, Pishchevik and Opytne, too.
